27 New Cities List:
Andhra Pradesh: (1) Tirupati
Gujarat: (1) Vadodara
Karnataka: (4) Managaluru, Tumakuru, Shivamogga, Hubbali-Dharwad
Maharashtra: (5) Kalyan-Dombivili, Nagpur, Thane, Nashik, Aurangabad
Madhya Pradesh: (2) Ujjain, Gwalior
Nagaland: (1) Kohima
Odisha: (1) Rourkela
Punjab: (2) Amritsar, Jalandhar
Rajasthan: (2) Kota, Ajmer
Sikkim: (1) Namchi
Tamil Nadu: (4) Madurai, Vellore, Thanjavur, Salem
Uttar Pradesh: (3) Varanasi, Agra, Kanpur
Union Government will allot Rs. 500 in 5 years to each of these Smart cities. State Government must make equal contribution. Remaining Development amount should be collected through debt and other ways
