Dr APJ Kalam Passed Away
- Former President - Bharat Ratna - Dr APJ Abdul Kalam passed away today July 27, 2015 (Monday)
- Dr Kalam went to IIM Shillong to address students. He suddenly collapsed. Dr Kalam was admitted to hospital. But he was later declared dead
- Dr Kalam was President of India from 2002 to 2007. He was awarded Bharat Ratna in 1997.
- Dr Kalam's body will be flown from Guwahati to Delhi on July 28th (Tuesday) morning
- Dr Kalam's Family wants his Funeral to be held at his hometown Rameshwaram in TN. But it is not yet officially declared where his last rites will be held
- Union Government has declared 7 day official mourning. National Flag will fly at half of the post.
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi, TN CM Jayalalitha, Congress VP Rahul Gandhi and many other leaders have condoled the death of Dr Kalam
- It is not sure whether other states, cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru (Bangalore), Hyderabad, Ahmedabad have declared Holiday or not. Please refer the media. All this blog knows is that its leave in Tamilnadu
